“Our collection embodies one basic principle. The intrinsic desire to be free. Free to move (dance, run, dodge, insert verb here), free to travel and explore, free to be distinctively unique and free to change our minds (and ensembles).

Back in college, I went dancing with my girlfriends, and had my purse stolen when I left it at the table to show off my moves on the dance floor. I remember thinking ‘There has GOT to be a fashionable way to carry all my necessities while remaining hands free’. Fast forward ten years, and I was playing at the park with my kids. I saw another mother trying to wrangle her toddler down the slide, phone in one hand, wallet in the other and thought ‘My clubbing days may be far behind me… but I (and clearly others) still face the same problem’.

I discovered nothing to my standard of style and quality on the existing market. I wanted women to enjoy an accessory that empowered them, while providing a bridge between fashion and function. We all want the individuality of a stylish hand bag (without the obligation to carry it). So I created FÜCHSIN AVE; the largest manufacturer of garter purses / boot pockets / insulin pump cases / yoga mat pockets.”
